For starters, please accept my apologies for any mistakes or 'what is that?'.... that may be in this post :)
This is my first ever blog post, butterfly swirl, soap challenge, and my second time using micas for colourants. So, honestly, I'm not sure what I'm doing, but I hope this blog works, and thanks Amy, for making me get out of my comfort zone and try something new!
I have only seen a few butterfly swirl soaps, but they are fascinating! Soap swirls and designs are my weakness, actually let's be honest, anything to do with soap is my weakness, and I spend far too much time googling them!
So why am I still here? I've got to go make soap!
An hour later.......
This is what the top looks like:
Micas from Nuture |
I decided to try making little butterflies to decorate the top. Original, I know! |
Scented with a nice blend that is fruity sweet, light and airy.
Now I just have to wait, very impatiently, so I can see what it looks like inside!
That Afternoon!
It's not perfect, but I'm really happy with my first attempt.
Then again, maybe there's a three winged butterfly out there somewhere! :)
Those little butterflies on the top are awesome. And so are your colors. Nice job on your first blog post too!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
